Maryland man fatally shot in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police in D.C. are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Southeast on Tuesday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the sound of gunshots in the 3300 block of 6th Street SE.

There, they found 30-year-old Keion Naylor, of Suitland, Md., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a hospital where he died.

Anyone with information is asked to contact MPD at (202) 727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411.

A reward of up to $25,000 is offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
