WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Award-winning journalist and member of the DC News Now family Ross Simpson died Wednesday. He was 82 years old.
Simpson most recently anchored the morning newscast and served as host of Veterans Voices before the station shifted operations from Hagerstown, Md. to our current home in Washington, D.C. in 2022.
Simpson’s voice and smile were widely recognized by viewers and listeners in the DMV, after a storied career in radio and television journalism spanning more than 50 years.
