Prince William County to require driver’s license for entry into landfill
Beginning March 31, the Prince William County Public Works Solid Waste Division will implement a driver’s license verification system at the county landfill and compost facility.
The new system is designed to reduce wait times, enhance efficiency and streamline operations, and improve accuracy in verifying county residency, the county said in a news release.
The upgraded system will replace manual, visual ID checks with secure ID scanning technology to verify Prince William County residency.
