An off-duty police officer from Prince George’s County has been charged with driving while intoxicated after being caught in his marked cruiser, according to official reports. Officer Simeon Daramola, who joined the force in 2023, was pulled over by the Laurel City Police Department around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday. WUSA9 reported that Daramola was on Fourth Street in Laurel, Maryland, at the time of the incident.
Following the traffic stop, Daramola was issued multiple DWI-related citations.
