WASHINGTON (7News) — An 18-year-old and 16-year-old have been arrested in connection to two different armed carjackings in Northeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
The 18-year-old was identified by police as Jamari Robinson of Southeast D.C. Police have not given the name of the 16-year-old due to his age.
The first armed carjacking was on March 25 in the 900 block of 7th Street NE. One of the suspects brought out a handgun and demanded that the person get out of the car. They then stole some of the items from the person and tried to take the car but failed to do so before leaving the area…
