18-year-old killed after shooting in Southeast DC, police say

WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — An 18-year-old was killed in Southeast D.C. Saturday night, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Officers responded to the 3300 block of 10th Place, Southeast, for a report of a shooting around 11 p.m. and found a man, not conscious and not breathing, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

DC Fire and EMS rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment, but despite life-saving efforts, police said he was pronounced dead…
