WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police in the District announced that a 17-year-old boy died about six weeks after he was shot in Northeast.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), on the night of Feb. 2, officers were called to the 1400 block of Florida Avenue for a shooting. There, they found 17-year-old Trey’zuan Charles of Northeast suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics took Charles to the hospital. However, weeks later, on March 17, he died.
