Kennard White, 19, of Columbia, was indicted after allegedly shooting and killing Darden and hospitalizing a 20-year-old in December 2023.
Specifically, White is charged with:
- First-degree murder;
- Attempted murder;
- Assault;
- Multiple weapons offenses.
He has been held at the Howard County Detention Center since January 2024 and was served the new charges there.
