Northeast Weather Alert: Heavy Rain And Snow Possible This Weekend

This weekend, the Northeast will see some of the heaviest rains of the month, with snow predicted only at higher elevations. Maryland and neighboring states will experience heavy rain, while snow will primarily affect mountainous regions in New York and Maine.

According to the National Weather Service, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. can anticipate up to 1.5 inches of rain through Saturday, potentially leading to localized flooding and travel problems. The storm system is forecast to produce rain through Sunday, with the most precipitation falling Friday night and Saturday early.
