14-year-old could be charged after loaded gun found at middle school, Prince George’s County police say

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — An 8th-grade student could face charges after a loaded gun was found at a middle school in Landover on Thursday, police announced Friday.

The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) was alerted at around 1:40 p.m. that Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) personnel recovered a weapon.

A loaded gun was found in the parking lot of Kenmoor Middle School, which is in the 2500 block of Kenmoor Drive.
