PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Two dogs had apparently been attacking a man before a Prince George’s County Department officer shot and killed one of the animals on Saturday.
Internal affairs said they were investigating what happened as part of what PGPD described as, “departmental policy.” The department claims the dog had been charging toward the officer before it had been shot.
