A Maryland bus driver is being remembered as “a hero for his family” and lauded for his actions after he safely pulled a bus full of passengers to a stop in the midst of suffering a fatal heart attack.

Ruiz Bell was driving a Ride On bus south on Interstate 355 in Maryland on April 30 when he began suffering a heart attack, officials said.
