WATCH: Family, pets displaced after house fire in Bethesda

BETHESDA, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Officials said one family is being displaced after a fire broke out in their home in Bethesda on Thursday.

Firefighters responded to the home in the 9200 block of Rosehill Drive. There, they extinguished the fire which had started in the basement before spreading upstairs.

Firefighters say everyone in the home was able to get out safely and no one was hurt.
