Two fires break out roughly a day apart at Kensington, Md. apartments: MCFRS

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Separate fires broke out at two apartments in the same Montgomery County, Maryland, high-rise complex, roughly a day apart, according to the county’s fire and rescue officials.

Fire crews were called to the eight-story building on Thursday and Friday, the first for an incident involving burnt food and the other for a reason not yet announced by officials.

Crews on Thursday were called to the Kensington House on the 10000 block of Frederick Avenue for reports of a fire caused by burnt food inside a third-floor residence. The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported…
