Police Charge Man For Fatally Gunning Down Two Teens In Southeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Wednesday, a 23-year-old Southeast, D.C., man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with a targeted triple shooting that occurred on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Southeast, D.C., claiming the lives of two Southeast teenagers and injuring another teen boy.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Friday, May 23, 2025, just minutes after 10:15 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District responded to multiple 911 Emergency Calls reporting a shooting on the 4200 Block of 4th Street in Southeast, D.C.
Police Officers Find Three Teens Shot, Two Fatally
Upon arrival, Police Officers found three teens, all suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, where, despite life-saving measures, two of the teens, later identified as Jamar Jackson, 19, and Royell Walker, 16, both of Southeast, D.C., succumbed to their injuries and were subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. The third shooting victim, only identified as a 14-year-old boy, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The boy’s condition is currently unknown.
Detectives Indentify Sean McFadden As The Shooter
During the ensuing investigation, D.C. Homicide Branch Detectives identified Sean McFadden, 23, of Southeast, D.C., as the suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest…
