Two men charged with murder in shooting on I-70 in Frederick County

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Maryland State Police (MSP) announced that two men were taken into custody in connection with a shooting on Interstate 70 in Frederick County that left a man dead.

State police said 28-year-old Francisco Javier Sanchez-Juarez, and 24-year-old Jeffrey Josue Diaz, both of Howard County, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and other firearm charges.

Minutes before midnight on June 14, state police responded to the 600 block of Lakeview Drive in Mount Airy for the report of a shooting on I-70. Once on the scene, troopers found a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck with six men inside.
