Woman killed in crash on Great Seneca Highway in Germantown identified

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police have released the name of a woman who died after she ejected from an SUV during a rollover crash in Germantown.

In an update Wednesday, the woman was identified as 71-year-old Mary Elizabeth Moody, of Germantown.

An investigation by the Montgomery County Department of Police revealed that just minutes after 10:30 p.m. on July 21, Moody was driving a Subaru when she was struck by a Mazda. Police said Moody was trying to make a left turn, onto Mateny Road when the collision took place.
