WASHINGTON (7News) — Extreme heat in the area has led to a rising number of heat-related deaths in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C.
So far, there have been 13 in Maryland alone. Since May, the state has seen one heat-related death in Montgomery County, one in Prince George’s County, and another in Frederick County.
