The Sheriff of Northumberland County, Virginia, said Friday that Louise Cox, the 79-year-old Prince George’s County woman who went missing and was found dead in the Little Wicomico River on July 14th, died from an accidental drowning.
Cox was reported missing by family members in Prince George’s County on July 14th, the same day her body was discovered in the river.
Northumberland County Sheriff John Beauchamp said in a press release Friday that detectives from his office were able to work with Prince George’s County Police to “piece together a presumable route” that Cox traveled between July 12th to July 14th.
