According to the Metropolitan Police Department, “On Monday, May 12, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Fifth District offices responded to the 1900 block of Bennett Place, Northeast, for the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located the victims who stated, the suspect discharged a firearm at them after a dispute. After shooting at the victims, the suspect fled the area. No injuries were reported during this incident.
