Philadelphia, PA – A cool-down is arriving across the Mid-Atlantic tonight as a cold front sweeps through the region, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ.
Forecasters say lows will dip into the upper 40s to lower 50s across much of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with the coldest readings in the higher elevations. Along the coast and Delmarva Peninsula, temperatures are expected to hold in the lower to mid-60s. Winds will shift from the north-northeast at 5–10 mph, adding to the brisk feel overnight.
Saturday is expected to remain cooler and seasonable in the wake of the front. High temperatures will reach the lower to mid-70s across New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and northern Maryland.
