ALEXANDRIA, Va. (7News) — There was a heavy police presence in Alexandria’s Eisenhower West neighborhood after a shooting sent a person to the hospital late Friday night.
The Alexandria Police Department shared on X just before midnight that officers responded to the 2800 block of Telek Place following reports of a shooting.
When authorities arrived, they found a person who had been shot by a “known suspect.” The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive…
