Teen boy found with gun tried to push past weapons detector at Maryland high school

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md (7News) — A 15-year-old boy tried to push past a weapons detection system at Charles Herbert Flowers High School before he was found with a gun, according to school officials.

Prince George’s County police announced the arrest of the teen on social media Tuesday morning.

A school spokesperson said the boy was spotted trying to get around the weapons detectors and security asked him to go through again…
