MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — After several residents inside a Silver Spring apartment building reported rodents and bugs crawling around their kitchens and living rooms, the Montgomery County Council President Kate Stewart said “100 percent” of apartment units will be inspected.
Stewart’s admission to DC News Now on Wednesday followed a series of viral videos posted on TikTok by a tenant of the Arise Silver Spring complex showing rodents running rampant.
“What I saw, like, on those videos, and the reports that we’re getting are absolutely horrible,” Stewart told DC News Now.
