Man sent to hospital after Thanksgiving shooting in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A shooting on Thanksgiving in D.C. sent a man to the hospital. Police are now searching for the suspect, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Around 10:10 p.m. on Nov. 27, Fifth District officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 300 block of Evarts Street, NE.

Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and EMS responded and transported the man to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
