ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Wes Moore has announced the launch of the second year of Maryland’s Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments, and Households (ENOUGH) Initiative, committing more than $19 million in funding to continue the state’s “unapologetic, unprecedented” attack on concentrated child poverty.
The commitment includes $18 million in ENOUGH grant funds slated for 28 high-poverty communities across 12 counties. Complementing this public investment, philanthropic partners have pledged $1.5 million through the ENOUGH Alliance to support programs focused on increasing access to good jobs, good schools, quality health care, and safe neighborhoods.
