Montgomery Co. church covers January rent for 11 people

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) – A Montgomery County church is stepping up to cover rent this month for nearly a dozen people. Church leaders say it’s in response to potential federal cuts to Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH).

“We were blown away,” Lynn Rose, director of development and community partnerships for the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH), said. “It was the best kind of gift we could possibly imagine.”
