PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Department of Corrections (DOC) is mourning the loss of one of its master corporals, who died in a crash on New Year’s Eve.
The department said that the crash happened on the same day as the officer’s retirement celebration at the facility.
John Nicholson began his career with the Department of Corrections in June 2001. He retired on Dec. 31, 2025.
