Jan 1- Ladder Truck 14 was alerted on the Working Fire Dispatch to the 3800 block Lighthouse Way in Calverton. Units went on scene of 4-story multi-family dwelling with fire showing from top floor & occupants trapped. Command requested a 2nd alarm to be sounded, and multiple occupants removed from balconies. Truck 14’s volunteer crew arrvied to establish RIT, softened the building and was later assigned to Division 3 to relieve crews.
