Red Line experiences disruptions after person struck by train at Takoma Metro station

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Red Line is experiencing disruptions Sunday afternoon after a train struck a person at the Takoma Metro station.

In a post on the X platform at 11:20 a.m., Metro said trains were single tracking between Silver Spring and Takoma because of a “trespasser” struck by a train at the Takoma station.
