Two fast-casual restaurant chains are set to open new locations this year in shopping centers in Silver Spring that are leased and operated by Jacksonville-based Regency Centers.
Honeygrow has taken over the former California Tortilla space at the Shoppes of Burnt Mills on Columbia Pike and plans to open this summer, according to Bethesda Magazine. The Philadelphia-based chain launched in 2012 and serves customizable stir-fries, salads, and dessert bowls, and also offers catering and an HG at Home line of uncooked noodles, sauces, and dressings.
The new Silver Spring restaurant will be Honeygrow’s 14th in Maryland and its second in Montgomery County, following the Rockville location, which opened in 2018, according to Eater D.C…
