On their second day in Washington, DC, a group of venerable Buddhist monks from Texas marked the end of their multi-month walking pilgrimage at the Lincoln Memorial.
Approximately two dozen monks had embarked on the 2,300-mile journey from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth to the nation’s capital. The journey began on Oct. 26 and will end on Feb. 12, when the men will board a bus in Maryland and travel back home.
Once they arrive in Fort Worth, they’ll conduct a homecoming walk to their temple…
