MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Two people showed signs of hypothermia after being rescued from a car that crashed into a creek overnight.
Details are limited; however, Pete Piringer with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said the crash happened around 3 a.m. on Feb. 16. Once on the scene, crews found the vehicle in a flooded creek in the Hunting Quarter Road and River Road area.

Piringer added that the vehicle became disabled in the two-foot water after the crash. Two people tried to get out of the car for several hours before calling 911.
