Sunday snow forecast: What to know about totals, school impacts and more

Rain and wet snow are headed for the D.C. area on Sunday — likely affecting roads and leading to some school delays and closures on Monday, Storm Team4 says.

The rain is expected to move in early Sunday morning and mix with wet snow to create a slushy-like consistency, Storm Team4 Meteorologist Amelia Draper said.

This snow won’t be anything like the storm in January that coated the region in snow and sleet, some of which hasn’t completely melted weeks later…
