An adult male pedestrian was killed Sunday evening after being struck by a driver in Rockville, according to Montgomery County police and fire officials.
The collision occurred at Norbeck Road and Avery Road. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews responded to the scene and evaluated one adult trauma victim, while multiple lanes were blocked as first responders worked.
At 6:54pm, Montgomery County Police announced that Norbeck Road was closed between Baltimore Road and East Gude Drive due to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
