WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Two firefighters were taken to the hospital overnight after battling a blaze in Petworth.
Details about what led up to the fire remain limited. In a post on X around 2 a.m. on March 4, the DC Fire and EMS Department noted that crews were on the scene of a row house fire in the 3800 block of Kansas Ave NW.
There, flames from the basement began to spread to the first and second floors of the row house, eventually smoldering in the attic.
