Breads Unlimited and Pizza has announced it will open its new location at 10303 Kensington Pkwy in Kensington on Saturday, April 11.
The new bakery and pizza shop will be located next to Dish & Dram, in the former home of The Growing Years Consignment Shop. According to the business, the new location will combine elements of its Bethesda bakery with an expanded menu that includes breakfast and lunch sandwiches made with fresh bread, along with pizza.
Breads Unlimited, originally founded in 1981 by Steven Raab and now owned by former long-time employee Jose Roberto Molina, has been a staple at 6914 Arlington Rd in Bethesda. The bakery offers a variety of baked goods, including breads (rye, sourdough, challah, pumpernickel), rolls (bagels, pretzels, kaiser rolls), cookies (chocolate chunk, oatmeal raisin, turnovers, scones, brownies), and sweets (cronuts, danishes, muffins, donuts, coffee cakes, pound cakes, and eclairs).
