WHEATON, Md. (DC News Now) — Officials said that a teenager was found “safe and sound at home” after entering a storm drain at Evans Parkway Park and going missing briefly on Friday afternoon.
In a post just after 4:20 p.m., Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) spokesperson Pete Piringer said that units were at the park for a missing juvenile.
Piringer said that the teen had entered a storm drain and reportedly did not exit.
