Montgomery County Police located a missing New York woman Sunday morning after she drove nearly 24 hours across multiple states, officials said.
According to police, 4th District officers found Judith Woodard, who has Alzheimer’s/dementia, safe and unharmed at the intersection of Randolph Road and New Hampshire Avenue. She had been the subject of a Silver Alert issued out of Suffolk County, New York.
Montgomery County Police were contacted around 8am on March 29, 2026 by the Southold Town Police Department regarding the missing woman. Using a combination of a cellphone ping and automated license plate reader technology, investigators were able to track her vehicle into Montgomery County…
