SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Music will soon fill the air at Levitt at the Falls as the summer concert series gets ready to begin.
This summer, audiences can enjoy free live music from a wide variety of bands during Levitt’s 45-day schedule.
“We have opening acts every night to bring even more to the table,” Vice President of Programming Rose Ann Hofland said. “So even though it’s the same sort of experience where you have the beautiful sunshine and food trucks and live music, you’re going to hear a little bit of a different sound. You’re going to get introduced to new artists, and you’re going to get to build your playlist with artists you may not have heard of before.”
Volunteers play an important role in making sure the events run smoothly, and training has already started.
“We run a minimum of about 20 volunteers for each concert,” Director of Volunteer Engagement Laura Mullen said. “That adds up to about 1,400 volunteer slots for the three months that we have concerts.”…
