SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)– The state has rested in the case of Lamont Burks Jr. Thursday morning inside the Minnehaha County Courthouse.
Burks Jr. and another man are accused of opening fire at Dunham Park on Aug. 25, 2024, killing 29-year-old Joshua Allen Jr. and injuring three others.
He is charged with First degree murder, attempted First degree murder, Aggravated Assault bodily injury with indifference to human life, Aggravated Assault with bodily injury with a dangerous weapon, as well as a habitual offender felony…
