Inwood golf cart driver arrested for OWI

INWOOD—A 43-year-old Inwood man was arrested about 1:15 a.m. Thursday, June 11, on charges of operating while under the influence — third or subsequent offense, driving while his license was denied or revoked, operating a motor vehicle without a required ignition interlock device and driving without required high-risk insurance.

The arrest of Seth James Van Kekerix stemmed from his being observed operating a golf cart in the 600-block alley between South Main Street and South Maple Street and then pulling into his garage at 605 S. Maple St. in Inwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
