SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)– A budget decision made by the Sioux Falls City Council last year is paying off for swimmers this summer, with the city’s outdoor pools now scheduled to remain open through Aug. 16.
On Friday, the city of Sioux Falls announced the Parks and Recreation Department will close all of the outdoor swimming pools on Sunday, Aug. 16. The city previously said that outdoor pools would close on the 9th, but as of Friday, the date had been updated to allow for another week of outdoor swimming.
