The Sioux Falls Housing & Redevelopment Commission sees its mission as more than securing a roof and four walls for those it serves.
“We were that agency that people used to see as just housing people and moving on, but over the last three or four years, we have been the agency that wants to get a family or individual housed but keep them sustainably housed,” said Ashley Linneweber, director of administration.
“You get them housed, but you’ve got to make sure every other area has support in their life so they can remain housed. They need supportive services, whether that be support in the medical area, food, day-to-day function or finding a job.”…
