Travis Schaunaman and two of his children were in the crash. His 8-year-old child died at the scene, the sheriff’s office said. The other child, 10, has minor injuries, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office said emergency crews responded to a call reporting a “paraglider accident that happened northeast of Aberdeen.”

The names of the two people who died in a motorcycle crash in McCook County have been released. The driver, Derrick Brousseau, 53, of Pacolet, South Carolina, and the passenger, Deeann Dyer, 47, of Lewiston, Maine, both died after a semi collided with the back of the motorcycle
