According to Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Aaron Benson, around 7:30 a.m., a caller reported that an adult man had raped a juvenile in the area of 15th Street and Western Avenue. Officers investigating the incident said Yates admitted to sexually assaulting the juvenile.

A Hurley man with a history of harassing women is facing new charges of simple assault and stalking. In the latest case, Greg Farrar is accused of simple assault and stalking. Both charges are class 1 misdemeanors. A class 1 misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in jail, a $2,000 fine, or both.
