It has been an unimaginable time for Aberdeen, South Dakota Mayor Travis Schaunaman and his family. Mayor Travis and his his two children were involved in a paragliding accident. As a result, he and his 10-year-old daughter suffered “serious but non-life-threatening injuries.” 8-year-old son Emerson Schaunaman tragically passed away.
South Dakota communities have been showing their support for the Schaunaman family, and now some residents and businesses are going the extra mile by setting up a GoFundMe Page and a personal family account.

The Dacotah Bank location in Aberdeen are coming together with their neighbors by creating an account called the “Memorial of Emerson Schaunaman.”
