Summer officially ended in Sioux Falls this week, and another season is in its final stages: road construction season.
According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation, Thursday (September 24th), the Interstate 229 northbound off-ramp at Cliff Avenue (Exit 4) is scheduled to reopen to traffic (weather permitting). After exiting the Interstate, travelers may only turn right onto Cliff Avenue until paving of Cliff Avenue is completed in late October or early November.
The northbound auxiliary lane and ramp were recently reconstructed as part of a $48 million interchange reconstruction project. The northbound mainline Interstate and Cliff Avenue on-ramp will remain closed until late November when all paving and bridge work has been completed…
