SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — More than six months later, a Sioux Falls mom says she won’t soon forget the day she lost her 14-year-old daughter.
During a Friday morning ceremony that honored her life, McKenna Wendel’s mother shared with KELOLAND News what made her daughter so amazing.
“I remember when we did pictures when I first had her, she was like three weeks old, she was very photogenic. I have quite a few at home,” McKenna’s mother Marisa Wendel said. “She was in a purple little dress. We gave her a bath right before, so she kind of fell asleep, but they still turned out really good.”…
