Horses found out hoofing around in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Giddy-Up! A team of horses decided to hoof around the streets of Sioux Falls Thursday night.

Ten horses were galloping around 26th Street and Southeastern Avenue, according to the Sioux Falls Police Department. Authorities were able to corral the horses in the 33rd St & Holt Ave area.

Sam Clemens with Sioux Falls Police says the horses came from the Leif Ericson camp. People from the McCrossan Ranch were called in to help round up the horses and load them in trailers.

Clemens says he’s not sure how the horses were able to escape.
